Situated high enough in the Alps, the Zugspitz Arena offers cross-country skiing possibilities from November to spring on top groomed trails.

Cross-country skiing tips in Ehrwald
Short or long, easy or difficult – there are many cross-country trails of various levels in and around Ehrwald, suited for beginners as well as for professionals. You can go up to 41.6 km on the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena trail, achieving a cumulative elevation gain of 330 metres. Even more challenging is the 2.7 km long Lärchenwald trail. More relaxed trails are the Weidach or Rossmoos trails.
